I’m trying to grow a small roofing company; to see if growth hacking strategies used by startups could also work with traditional businesses.
But I am in no way an expert so I’m just learning things as I go. So far, I built this website to generate leads and will try to automate internal processes using robots and scripts.
Just like DOLE’s banana plantation, there’s a whole orchard of low-hanging fruits in small businesses. Especially in the construction industry where software adoption is as slow as old saggy turtles.
I mean, we’re used to being shafted by world-changing tech startups without realizing that we really don’t have to reinvent the wheel, and could just simply improve upon it.
So will my experiment work or will it fail? I don’t know, baby! But what’s great with things that spectacularly crash is that there really is only one way to go.
